MILITARY AND GOVERNMENT EXPLOSIVES TRAINING
The UK MOD has a worldwide reputation for having the highest standards of training for Ammunition Technicians and Ammuntion Technical Officers. Those that have pursued this career path have faced many challenges as they progressed up through the technical skill levels and their associated management activities. For those that have an instinct for the task and have embraced the pinnacle of EOD/IEDD skills become world leading IEDD and EOD operators. Many of THE COMPANY’s staff originate from this background and have also become world class instructors.
THE COMPANY has developed a 22 week programme, primarily for military, police or government forces, which delivers training previously only available at UK MOD training establishments and is designed to deliver identical outcomes. Personnel will understand the principles of explosives from their base chemical level and learn how to recognise, prepare, handle, store and use munitions and explosive natures. The course provides the knowledge and skills for serving personnel to start a career as an Ammunition Technician. There is no rank requirement for entry to the course, however the individual must be proficient in the English language and have a good understanding of mathematics, chemistry and physics.
THE COMPANY’s AT course and its associated storeman and process workers training courses are all modularized. Each component can be taught as a consecutive package leading to full award or as individual modules. Specialised modules are often included such as MHE training and first aid.
