Operational C-IED Course
A 4 week course. This is designed to take students who have been successful on the Intermediate C-IED course and train them to a level where they can operate competently, safely and unsupervised in an operational and deployed environment. It is conducted mainly on a training area, though with some classroom teaching. It assumes the students have the basic equipment handling techniques and focuses primarily upon the employment of the techniques in relatively complex C-IED scenarios.
The course will be assessed by written, oral and practical testing. It is assumed the Instructors will have full contact with the students to debate complex issues and C-IED philosophy throughout the training period.
