Home Made Explosives (HME) Course
The illegal use of Home Made Explosives poses a significant threat to Security Agencies throughout the world. The manufacture of HME does not require specialized knowledge and many mixtures can be made from commercially available and legally sourced products supported by readily available internet instruction manuals. The safe identification and disposal of such substances requires a comprehensive understanding of their make-up and adherence to robust first response processes and procedures.
This 5 day course is designed to introduce delegates to Home Made Explosives. It will consider the different types of HME, the manufacturing processes and the risks associated with that. This course has been specifically designed for those who have successfully completed basic training in explosives either through an THE COMPANY EOD course or IEDD course, or who have demonstrable previous and relevant experience with explosives.
This course is delivered in the UK only and delegates should be proficient in the English language. All applicants for this course may be subject to additional security checks.
